What do you do when the heat index forecast is 110+ and the humidity is so bad you can't breathe? Declare it a Crafty Saturday and stay inside and make tropical cards! I may even make some margaritas later today and have a true Tropical Escape!
Speaking of Tropical Escape, that's the name of awesome designer series paper! I'm working on designing my July Card Club, which will feature the Tropical Escape Suite.
Are you familiar with Card Club? It's rapidly becoming my most popular event of the month. Using just one stamp set or bundle, we make 8 cards (2 each of 4 different designs). You can choose to attend in person, or get your complete kit delivered right to your door. Everyone gets PDF directions plus an invitation to a private Facebook Live event so you can craft along with me.
Card Club is a subscription-based club, that you can cancel at any time. After 6 months, you may choose $25.00 of any product for FREE, including hostess sets! Registration is due by the 15th of the month. Click on the button below to learn more! Today's Tutorial

We've spent all week talking about the 2018 Stampin' Up! Color Revamp. After talking about Brights, Regals, Subtles, and Neutrals, it's time to remember the Basics. There's a certain elegance and sophistication in the use of nothing but Basic Black and Whisper White. Symbols of both faith and grief, black and white makes the perfect sympathy card.
Before we wrap up our Color Revamp Week, let's take one more look at Stampin' Up'!'s new colors.
I am putting in a final June Order tonight. Let me know if there's something you need - like ink or paper these amazing new colors - and I'll add it to my order.
And be sure to tune in to my Crafty Saturday Facebook Live tomorrow morning at 9 am. I love crafting and chatting with you on a Saturday morning! Today's Tutorial![]()

In the design world, a neutral color means something is without color. You can't tell me that Merry Merlot, Mossy Meadow, and Night of Navy are without color! The Stampin' Up! Neutrals Collection gives 'neutral' a whole new meaning. Like a little black dress, the Neutrals go with everything!
Speaking of little black dress, you may be wondering where Black went. It, along with Whisper White and Very Vanilla, have been moved to their own new color family: the Basics.
While the Neutrals & Basics play well with all the other colors families, they're also perfectly capable of standing alone.

Well, I must have been sleeping when I made these cards because, there are 5, not 4, new colors in the Subtles Collection. Which one did I leave out? Why, Highland Heather! I'm guess I'm just not a purple person because I never even realized it was missing from my own palette. However, Highland Heather is a pretty dreamy purple. Like the rest of the Subtles Collection, it's soft, delicate, slightly muted, and much more subdued than the Brights or even Regals. That's not to say, though, that they can't stand alone! There's nothing wimpy about these colors!
The entire Subtles Collection of ink pads can be yours for FREE when youjoin my Stamping Bee team in July! That's a $67 value, not to mention Free Shipping, too! The offer starts July 1, so get your Wish List started now!
