August 2018 - Christmas Card Club Begins in August!!!
I'm home! When I earned the Alaskan Incentive Trip last September, friends told me, "Be sure to take an extra suitcase for all the goodies you'll bring home." They weren't kidding! Just look at this stash! That's not even including the fabulous jacket and plush blanket - both of which came in extremely handy on cold ships and in chilly airports and planes!
This trip was amazing in every way. When I think back to when I joined Stampin' Up! in December 2015, earning the incentive trip never even crossed my mind. I only joined for the discount when ordering! I didn't want to teach classes. This was a fun hobby for me, and I had no intention of turning it into a business. Famous last words, right? Now, I have a daily blog, a Facebook Live show every Saturday, a YouTube channel, an active Facebook Group, and more. Most importantly, I've met some amazing people along the way.
I returned home with the happy but exhausted feeling of having vacationed well. I'm more than ready to start crafting again and in just two short days, I'll release not one, but TWO clubs for August. There will be my regular monthly card club and a new 5 month Christmas Card Club. In the meantime, let's review some July specials that will be ending tomorrow!
And don't forget about the Paper Pumpkin Special! 1st time subscribers get their first month half off!
Join me tomorrow as I get back into my daily blog tutorials, starting with CASE-ing Tuesday. Until then, I'll leave you with this beautiful shot taken from our balcony of the sunset as we left Skagway last week.

Where's day 1 you ask? Well,it was a blur of traveling from Spokane to Seattle and boarding the ship. By the time we had our muster drill, explored the ship, and ate dinner, we were ready for bed! Day 2 is when the fun started!
We started with the Stampin' Up! General Session at 10 am. Talk about Prize Patrol! The very first winners were all the guests who support us, the demonstrators. I love that the chose to honor these very special people in our lives. They got this awesome Wood Texture's insulated water bottle.
Other prizes included a new Corrugated Embossing Folder, a pack of Joyous Noel Specialty (FOIL!) paper, a pack of Santa's Workshop Memories and More Cards and Envelopes, Sweet Seasons Washi Tape and a new tool...the Take Your Pick Tool. More about that later. (Can't wait to see the new products...come stamp with me when next week when I get home! We can try them out together!)
And I got this very special Pandora bracelet and "World Traveler" charm from my upline, Selene. It's so pretty; I may never take it off! Here's to many more Stampin' Up! trips together in our future.
Stay tuned for scenes from Juneau & Skagway tomorrow. Wish you were here!
Today's the day! Someone pinch me because I just can't believe it. Two years ago, I heard that theStampin' Up! incentive trip was to Alaska and I set my goal to achieve it. After only two years as a demonstrator, I earned my very first incentive trip. But I didn't do it on my own. I owe a great big thank you to you, my customers, and my Stamping Bee Team for helping me realize my goal. If it weren't for you, I could never have achieved this amazing honor.
And you know what? I'm just this close to earning next year's incentive trip to Greece! I looked at my reports early this morning and I only need 135 $50 orders to earn next year's trip to Greece. I know I can do it! Are you ready?
Thank you from Michelle

This month's Creative Inking blog hop is all about designer series paper. You know it's on sale, right? The Buy 3/Get 1 Free paper sale is probably my favorite sale of the whole year. You know I'm all about the paper so this sale has my name written all over it!
I'm on vacation this week and next. My first stop on vacation is to spend a week back to my hometown of Spokane, Washington. Then, it's all stampers on deck as I set sail on my very first Stampin' Up! incentive trip. I've been showcasing the Waterfront Stamp Set as my product of the week, as a way to document my travels.
I held the above class on the Sunday before I left on vacation. We made a card, a bag, and an envelope out of 1 sheet of 12" x 12" Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper. My stampers were thrilled because they got to choose what sheet they wanted to use. And because the cards were also done using a watercolor technique with the Waterfront Stamp Set, no two cards looked exactly the same! We really had a great time laughing, stamping, and Making Memories to share. But what's really cool is the inside of the card is stamped, too. You've got to see this!
Begin with a 12" x 12" Sheet of Designer Series Paper, and cut at 5 1/2". The small piece will make the card and the larger piece will make the bag and envelope flap.
Base: 5 1/2" x 12. Score at 4 1/4" and 8 1/2"
Outer front panel and first inside panel:
Cut remaining sheet of designer series paper into 6 1/2" x 9 1/2"
Envelope flap: Remaining Piece of Designer Series Paper
The below video has all the steps you need to make the projects yourself. It uses the Under the Mistletoe paper, which is also on sale this month!
