And be sure to check out these September Specials, too! I’ve always felt that the “new year” begins in September. Each person will make 52 Thank You Cards, one to share with someone each week of the year. Bring a covered dish so share for our lunch and enjoy crafts, fellowship, and fun!

I don't send many cards at Halloween. At the top of my list are my son and my young niece and nephew. But I love the Halloween Night Designer Series Paper and Cookie Cutter Halloween Stamp Set. With only a few on my card list, I had to challenge myself to do something new to showcase these cute products.

The crisp contrast of the Pumpkin Pie and Basic Black carries a simple statement. I really liked the minimalism here and made me think of apothecary jars and Steampunk industrialism. I was happily surprised to see how well the Peekaboo Peach Ruched Ribbon works with the Pumpkin Pie paper!
Next, I decided to be a little more playful. I made a skeleton and mummy from the Cookie Cutter Halloween Stamp Set and punched them out with the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch. I love how you can customize these by stamping them in black and coloring them with Stampin' Write Makers. I also added some extra sparkle to the skeleton by using the Clear wink of Stella Glitter Pen. ![]() The Hubs then asked if I'd make one for Thanksgiving. This one took a little more thought. I wanted to be more somber, showcasing the lovely fall colors found in the Petals and Paisleys Designer Series Paper. I liked the muted Night of Navy as a background. I used the Thoughtful Branches thinlets to make the glimmery pumpkin, leafless tree, and fall leaves. Glimmer paper gives you all the bling of glitter without the mess! I made all 3 of the banners in one day. Using the Banners, Lots of Labels, and Layering Squares and Circles Framelits really saves A LOT of time. And I love that I got to use my Large Letters Framelits, too!
The ladies at my two workshops this weekend *loved* them! So much so, I've decided to offer the two HALLOWEEN banners as a FREE September "Class To Go". I will send you all the pre-cut materials you need to complete the two HALLOWEEN banners, along with a detailed PDF instruction sheet.
