Yesterday was my Making Christmas Bright Sweet & Simple Class. We had so much fun! I made homemade pumpkin bread (click here for recipe) and there was plenty of hot coffee, tea, or hot cocoa to help ward of a nice cool fall day. We made 8 cards, 2 each of four designs, all using the Making Christmas Bright Bundle, which includes a fun stamp set and punch.
It's always fun welcoming new faces to class, and yesterday was no exception. And they came with a list of questions, everything from how do I know which Black Ink to use, what kind of classes and events do you have, and how do I join your team to get a great discount? I'll be tacking some of these questions this week on the blog because it's good to get answers to questions you might have, too!
First, let's look at the difference in the classes I offer. I offer a Sweet & Simple Class + a Monthly Card Club. Each of these focuses on just one stamp set. My Sweet & Simple Class focuses on Stamping Basics, with maybe one special technique, while my Card Club might have more design elements or advanced techniques. Both are offered in person in my studio or "To Go". To Go kits are shipped priority mail and include everything but the stamps, bundles, or ink. (Those are available for purchase as well).
During the holidays, I also offer a Christmas Card Club. For five months, August through December, it also meets on the last Saturday of the month at 2 pm. We make 12 cards, 3 each of 4 designs and it includes $25 in product along with everything you need to make the cards. Available in person or To Go, it's only $35 (plus priority shipping). If you stay in club all 5 months, there is a free stamp set waiting for you, too! And as an added bonus, when you join both the monthly card club and Christmas card club, each month there is a special free gift. Last month, dual club members received the cool new Take Your Pick Tool, and this month, they'll each get a Red Distressed Card Tin.
Registration for both clubs closes on the 15th of the month. That means, today is the last day to register for both theSincerely Santa Monthly Club and Timeless Tidings Christmas Card Club. There's still time. If you want to register today, simply email me and tell me which you prefer, and if you will attend in person or have me ship your kit to go.

First there was gold. Then, silver. But WOW! Look at that copper! I was face timing with a friend while crafting on Saturday, and thought, I wonder what would happen if I heat embossed this detailed deer from the Dashing Deer bundle? Since I was using the fun reindeer patterned paper with copper star accents from the Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper, I grabbed my Copper Embossing Powder and got to work.
My friend wondered if it would just melt away all the details. I was pleasantly surprised though. It did mute the design; he's not so 'lacy' looking. But he's still elegant and looks so amazing in shiny copper embossing powder. It gave me chills when it was all put together! Just lovely.

Can I just tell you how I excited I am to see that one of my September Christmas Club Cards fits this #CASEINGTuesday card? I just got home from my Stamping in the Mountains Retreat and I am exhausted! I managed to unload the car, but have carried nothing upstairs. Quite frankly, I don't know if I'd be able to because I'm just that tired. So...I'm going to leave you with my CASE'd card for the week, and head off to bed a full 3 hours earlier than usual.
Want to play along with the CASE-ing Tuesday group?
Makeover the card (pictured above). You can change a lot, a little or make the card just as it is in the catalog. Then post it to the Facebook thread. We can’t wait to see your cards. You can use the following hashtag if you post your card elsewhere on Facebook #CASEingtuesday166.

I am just in love with the versatility of the Very Vintage Host Stamp Set. Yesterday, I used it to create a more artsy, layered look. Today, I decided to use some simple layers and no embellishments to give it a more modern, yet still vintage feel. And, I love how the Share What You Love Designer Series Paper has the names of flowers written in Latin! Such a subtle way to reinforce the floral image.

August 2018 - Christmas Card Club Begins in August!!!
I feel so behind! It's craft fair season and I have't done a single one yet this year. Going to OnStage earlier in the month, and then flying straight to Boston for a week really put my craft fair plan into a tail spin. I do have one this Friday at North Chatham Elementary School from 6-9 pm. It's a local school and I get to be set up right next to my best friend who sells Usborne Books, so there should be plenty of food traffic. I've never done this fair, and I'm really looking forward to it. I hope, you'll stop by and support the North Chatham Elementary PTA Holiday Market.
To get ready for the market, I've been busy making some handmade gifts that could be used for stocking stuffers, teacher gifts, or just a little something to brighten someone's day. These desk calendars don't take up a lot of room, and the sentiment says it all: When I count my blessings, you are on the top of my list. I'm really happy I could use the Count My Blessings Stamp Set - it's so much more than just for Thanksgiving or fall! I lined the acrylic easel with a 6" x 4" piece of Fresh Florals Designer Series Paper and a strip of Gold Glimmer Paper, just to add a little sparkle. But wait...I'm not done! What's a present without beautiful packaging? I used a 6" x 17" Gusseted Cellophane Bag and some new Sweet Soiree Ready Shreddie, which I'd received in my 2018 Occasions preorder. Shhhhhhh...Ready Shreddie isn't available until January 1, but I couldn't resist using it to dress up my packaging. Isn't it festive? I finished it all up with a bow in matching Finely Woven Ribbon. What a perfect gift for someone special!
Don't forget...TODAY Stampin' Up! is offering FREE SHIPPING Sitewide on ALL orders!
***Ask me about Santa’s Helper Wish List. You get me your wish list + emails of family and friends. I’ll take care of the rest. If you're local, I'll include delivery and gift wrapping!
