My Stamping Bee Team is going to kill me! It's true! Just last night at our Team Meeting I issued a challenge to use the out-going 2017-2019 In Colors for our April meeting, with the warning of not using them all at the same time on the same card. Looks like I broke that rule, huh? I wonder how many of them will catch this?
It's sad, but true, some of our favorite colors are retiring soon. Past experience shows that once the retirement list is announced, the In Color ink, refills, paper, and embellishments are the first to go - usually within the first few hours! So, if I were you, and I had a favorite color or two that I knew I couldn't live without, I'd stock up now. They will be while supplies last, and I can already tell you that Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist, Tranquil Tide, and Berry Burst reinkers are already on low inventory!
So join me this week as we revisit and prepare to say goodbye to these 5 spring colors. Got a favorite color? Leave me a comment below; I'd love to know!

Layer 3: Vellum Leaves (Leaf Punch x 3)

If I learned anything from having the flu last week, it's that I didn't have any "Get Well Soon" cards. That, and I was so sick I didn't even feel like making cards. So, on the first day I felt like a human again, I went to my studio and made one. I wanted something cheerful and I found exactly what I was looking for in the Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper. Just like a beautiful bouquet of flowers, big bold flowers need to be the focal point: big flowers, simple sentiment. Got it!
Join me this week as we explore more about this delightful Humming Along Stamp Set. It's been sitting on my shelf for months, just waiting for the perfect moment to share with you.
And remember...I'm running a special from March 1-March 10. Any order of $25 or more will receive a free Needlepoint Nook Tutorial. Simply use the March Host Code: C4CYEDDB and I'll email you the tutorial right away.

Talk about a stamping weekend! Friday night, I drove 2 hours to stamp with a new group of ladies. We had a blast stamping and assembling the Made to Bloom Card Kit. This all-inclusive kit is perfect for beginning stampers and is even prettier in person! We had so much fun stamping, laughing, and sharing that we're getting together again in March & May!
Then, on Saturday, I spent the morning cutting more packets for Sunday's Sweet & Simple Class! I had several last minute RSVP's and you know I can't say no to anyone who wants to come stamp with me!
I did take a break Sunday afternoon when my parents and I went to lunch and attended Cirque du Soleil's Cortero. It was a great show and a completely different stage than I'd seen with Cirque before. As always, it was extremely disappointing when it was over. But I got pretty excited Saturday night when someone from Cirque liked a photo on my Instagram account!
Sunday night, I was back at it, cutting paper for Sunday night's Stamping Bee Team Meeting! This meeting was extra special because Tanner Smedly from the Stampin' Up! home office came to visit! Oh my goodness...everyone was so excited. Tanner was amazing - gracious, friendly, and answered everyone's questions and took suggestions with good natured patience. We had a great meal with a nice Asian Chicken salad, lots of fruit, French Bread, and two yummy home made desserts. And...we did a little Stamping It was a jam packed evening and once everyone left, and I got the food put away and the kitchen cleaned, I sat by the fireplace and watched Victoria on PBS.
This is the heart of my business. To do what I love...to share it with others...and live a purposeful and meaningful life while building up and empowering other women and men to do the same. If you'd like to be part of this amazing team of stampers, and share in what we love, we'd love to have you! Our next team meeting is Sunday, March 3 at 5:30 pm.
This week, I'll be showcasing butterflies! There are several in the the Occasions catalog and I'm just loving them all! Today's card was my featured swap card for the Stamping Bee Team Meeting yesterday. It's another very good example of #SimpleStamping.

You won't want to miss February's No-Obligation Card Club. You'll make 8 beautiful cards using the Wonderful Romance Bundle, plus receive combo packs of Mossy Meadow and Petal Pink Blends.
Life is Grand! My son was home this weekend. And while there was some car trouble with 3 trips to Advance Auto, there was also homemade blueberry muffins, a lunch at Tijuana Flats, and s quick dinner of tomato & basil ziti. He left my house at 8 pm, with a 3 hour drive up to the mountains in a 'new' used truck that he's only driven 10 miles max. Needless to say, I'm not sleeping until I hear that he got home safely.
This week, we're going to talk about Distinktive Stamps, specifically the Life is Grand Stamp Set. These dinstinktive stamps are great fun. They give the illusion of multi-step stamping with just one stamp. I really do like how quickly you can craft with these stamps. No trying to figure out which stamps to use first, or unmounting and remounting stamps to create multi-step projects. You just need one block and one stamp. Truly amazing!
Watch with me this week as I craft and design with the Life is Grand Stamp Set. Just one more example of #SimpleStamping.
