We've all been there. A friend is experiencing something awful - a divorce, a death of a loved one, the loss of a pet, unexpected job transitions - and we just don't know what to say. So, instead of appearing awkward, we say nothing. But we feel bad saying nothing. I mean, we should say something, right?
Allow me introduce you to this "I didn't know what to say" sentiment from the Genuine Gems stamp set. I received this set at OnStage in April, and I really like the sentiments in it. It's not your typical birthday/congrats/thank you greetings. I actually like the name of the French set better....Quand les Mots - or "When the words". True, right? When words just aren't enough, I'm going to reach right for this Genuine Gems stamp set.
And when words aren't enough, say it with flowers from the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper Stack.

Last Sunday, I had a friend stop by to play in my craft studio for a bit. We spent a few hours laughing, cutting paper, and having some 'girl time'. She brought along a few cards she'd made recently with the Sale-a-Bration Lasting Lily Stamp Set, and I have to say they were absolutely stunning. Of course I asked if I could photograph them to share with you. Don't you just love how she did the shading on the base and edges of the lily? Her trick? Sponge Daubers! I sure hope she'll share this technique with us at the Stamping in the Mountains Spring Retreat!
Remember...the Sale-a-Bration Lasting Lily Stamp Set is free with a $100 purchase through March 31.
Can't make the Spring Stamping in the Mountains Retreat?
Now you can creatively escape & craft along at home!

Today concludes my week of Lasting Lily. But before I go, I wanted to share this card where I used my Paper Snips in two different ways. First, I stamped my Lasting Lily image, then fussy cut around the edges. But then, I took a my favorite piece of Share What You Love Designer Series Paper and cut a wavy pattern. I did this freehand, my friend! Talk about stepping outside my comfort zone. I'm a rule-follower and this felt like I was breaking every rule. But you know what, I think it looks great! Tee hee...I'm such a rebel!
I hope you've enjoyed my Lasting Lily series. It's such a pretty and versatile set. I can see so many great uses for all the sentiments too.
Did you catch my Facebook Live last week? Apparently, 2.9K people watched that One-Sheet Wonder video. I'm just blown away by how popular it was. Join me tomorrow for a fun Valentine's Note Card Pouch using the new All My Love Designer Series Paper. You won't want to miss it!

Good Morning! Welcome to Wow Wednesday. Now, Wow Wednesday can mean a few things, like
Today, we're going with the latter. Yes, I made this card 5 times. I was trying to mask and over lap the stems and it just wasn't working. So, before I share that with you, I'm going to really have to go back and practice it some more. So for now, you'll just have to be satisfied with this sympathy card made with the Lasting Lilly Stamp Set from Sale-a-Bration.

We've spent all week talking about the 2018 Stampin' Up! Color Revamp. After talking about Brights, Regals, Subtles, and Neutrals, it's time to remember the Basics. There's a certain elegance and sophistication in the use of nothing but Basic Black and Whisper White. Symbols of both faith and grief, black and white makes the perfect sympathy card.
Before we wrap up our Color Revamp Week, let's take one more look at Stampin' Up'!'s new colors.
