In this week of bling and all things shiny, I couldn't let the week go by without playing with some Shimmer Paint. If you haven't played with these sparkly paints yet, you're going to love them!
I used the Bright Copper Shimmer Paint onmuslin Santa Bags earlier. Today, instead of using it to outline, I used it to paint an entire image in a shimmery frosty white effect. In essence, it gave a pearlized effect on top of the image. It's hard to photograph shiny images, but this is absolutely beautiful in person.
I've got an order for Club going in today. Do you need anything? Let me know and I'll be happy to add it to my order.

CASE-ing is the acronym for "Copy & Share Everything". CASE-ing a card is a great way for crafters of all levels, from beginner to avid, to hone their craft. CASE-ing offers card sketches or ideas that you may not have thought about or tried before. Sometimes, the sketches are quite simple, like the one today. Others, are more complex. For some, the sweet simplicity of this card can be a challenge. for me, I liked how the 'less is more' approach drew your attention to the actual stamping.
Today's CASE-ing Tuesday card features the All the Good Things Stamp Set, found in the annual catalog on page 151. It is a lovely and tranquil set and I really should add it to my collection. However, today's card sketch was the perfect fit for this week's Rooted In Nature Product of the Week.
Want to play along with the CASE-ing Tuesday group?
Makeover the card (pictured above). You can change a lot, a little or make the card just as it is in the catalog. Then post it to the Facebook thread. We can’t wait to see your cards. You can use the following hashtag if you post your card elsewhere on Facebook #CASEingtuesday162

I sent my friend a text on Friday..."Want to go to Bath and Body Works & sniff fall candles?" I love fall and the last few cooler days (as in only 82F) have made me start searching for the first signs off fall. I search for the first true red leaf, and count down the days until the first frost. Fall arrives a bit slower in the South, and I welcome it with open arms.
To celebrate the impending change of seasons, I'm showcasing the Rooted In Nature Bundle all this week. I started with my huge Crafty Saturday Facebook live and I can't wait to show you what I have in store the rest of the week.

When the Lad was in school, I put a note in his lunchbox every day. Even when he was in high school and packing his own lunch, I'd do my best to sneak a note inside it. I used to just write it on a post it note, but wish I'd had the Stampin' Up! notecards then. And now, they come in such a great variety of sizes, it would have added some variety to the lunches.
Today's card uses the En Route Stamp Set, part of the Best Route Suite. I love the bright color palette, too. Take a look at what's included in this suite.

There's so many choices when it comes to coloring. I hadn't used my Stampin' Up! Watercolor Pencils in a long time, but these leaves from the Blended Seasons Stamp Set needed something softer then Stampin' Write Markers, and even more delicate than the Stampin' Blends. I'm so glad we have such amazing choices when it comes to adding color to our projects. Blending the Watercolor Pencils with Blender Pen softens the lines, creating a smooth, no line look.
Do you know that there's a second set of Stampin' Up! Watercolor Pencils? They're beautiful! This new set contains:
Base: Mossy Meadow, 11" x 4 1/4"
Layer 1: Wood Textures Designer Series Paper, 5 1/4" x 4"
Layer 2: Mango Melody, 3" x 4"
Layer 3: Mossy Meadow, 3" x 4"
Layer 4: Whisper White, 3" x 4
