It's Crafty Saturday! Today, I share how to stamp directly on an embossing folder, creating a layered and embossed image. Measurements can be found below in the tutorial section.
Did you know the Snow is Glistening Stamp Set is only available during November...and only while supplies last? Vist my store to learn more: https://bit.ly/2SISQRl

If ever oh ever there was a Wow Wednesday, this would surely be it. I needed a cool 3-d project for my October Christmas Card Club. I wanted something a little different. I have a big box of Stampin' Up! Boxes and Bags. Why reinvent the wheel when I can enhance something I already have? Hmmmmm...I wonder is an Acetate Card Box would fit an embossing folder. Well, you know I didn't think to long on that and I immediately ran one of those through Big Shot. Voila! Instant WOW!
What a beautiful gift! Tuck a few cards and envelopes in there and you have a perfect gift for teachers, secretaries, pastors, neighbors. I always need some little hostess gifts around the holidays. It would be easy to make a few of these up and keep near the door so I can grab one on my way out of the house. How will YOU use this new technique?
Embossing...it's not just for paper anymore!

Sometimes "Wow" can be Sweet & Simple, too. I've done two pretty detailed cards this week using the Snow is Glistening Stamp Set and Snowfall Thinlets (both available 11/1). But now, I want to show you how you how beautiful the simplicity of just a few stamped snowflakes can be. I didn't even use any holiday designer series paper! I did grab the sentiment from the Timeless Tidings Stamp Set because it coordinates so well.
Don't just take my word for it though. Take a look at some of these great projects using the Snow is Glistening and Snowfall Thinlets, as well as the Happiness Surrounds Stamp Set (also available 11/1).

Stamping in the Mountains Spring Retreat
Pa I'm in the midst of a big home improvement project right now, which didn't leave me a lot of time to be creative for this week's Crafty Saturday Facebook Live. No worries, Paper Pumpkin came to my rescue!
October's Paper Pumpkin has such pretty fall colors! And it's so on trend right now, too! Just yesterday, I saw tons of DIY decorating ideas with feathers!
If you're new to Paper Pumpkin, it's monthly kit that's delivered right to your door. In addition to a full tutorial and video, each moth you receive a unique stamp set, ink spot (mini ink pad) and all the supplies you need to create fun and cute paper crafting projects. Plus, if it's you first month, you also receive a free clear stamping block, that you can use with subsequent kits as well.
My favorite kits of the year are the holiday kits. Look at this pretty box! I can't wait to see what's inside it. If you subscribe to Paper Pumpkin by November 10, you'll receive this cute box and all the goodies inside it. Just in time for something fun to do at Thanksgiving. Imagine having a few of those around for people to work on while they wait for the turkey to finish cooking? Or put a few out on the kids table for something to do after dinner.
Paper Pumpkin...there's something for everyone inside!
