It's CASE-ing Tuesday! and I'm super excited to share this beautiful Petal Palette card with you today. Yes, that's right it's another Petal Palette card. I'm hooked. I don't think I've ever used a stamp set as much as I do this one. Please, oh please, oh please let this one carry over into the new annual catalog! Stampin' Up! and Sarah Douglas if you're listening, I really, really, really like this set!
CASE-ing Tuesday really snuck up on me this week. I'm in the midst of last minute preparations for my Stamping at the Beach Retreat this weekend, and I just finished 6 water color tutorial videos when I suddenly remembered...I need to make a card. I need to write a blog. I need to do ANOTHER video! What? Another video? It's midnight? It's late, even for me to do a video. Well, the more I thought about it, the more I convinced myself that a video was really the only way I was going to be able to do any sort of tutorial for this card. So...today, you get a tutorial and a video!
Come join the fun. Create a card based on the above pattern and then post it on the Facebook Post. Or, if you post it elsewhere on Facebook, you can use the hashtag #CASEingtuesday138.

It's Crafty Saturday! Thank you for joining me. Whether you joined me this morning on my Facebook page or whether you're joining me here, I hope you're making something crafty this weekend!
When I started making handmade cards, the hardest part for me was knowing how to cut paper. What size did I need? How many layers? I was worried about wasting paper, especially the beautiful Designer Series Paper. Growing up in a household of seamstresses, I knew to measure twice and cut one. Nothing is so frustrating as to cut a fine piece of fabric, or a pretty piece of paper only to have it cut too short.
Today's video shows you how to make the most of a piece of 6" x 6" Picture Perfect Designer Series Paper. It's a paper pack with 12 different designs, with a variety of party designs, and geometric prints. This fun paper stack coordinates with Basic Black, Bermuda Bay, Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist, Peekaboo Peach, and Pool Party.
Don't be afraid to cut your paper. Go ahead! Give it a try. Post a picture of your cards below, or on my Facebook page. I'd love to see them!
To make the 4 cards in the photo and video you will need:
Bases - Pool Party, 8 1/2" 5 1/2', scored at 4 1/4" (4)
1 sheet of 6 " x 6" Designer Series Paper
Basic Black Scalloped Squares (4)
Berry Burst Scalloped Square (4)
I'm on my way home from California to North Carolina. And while I can't join you live today for Crafty Saturday, I do have this helpful video for you. Have a wonderful weekend! Do something creative and be sure to share a picture of it in my Facebook Group!
Happy Stamping & I'll see you on Monday!

And, I asked people to comment to be entered in a chance to win the card I made. Congratulations to Sharon Verity! Sharon, I'll send your card in the mail this week.
And just where does the Calypso Coral Stampin' Blends marker fit it to this card? You'll have to watch the video to find out! Happy Stamping!

I love butterflies and hummingbirds. I have a pollinator flower garden in my front and backyards so I can sit and watch these marvelous creatures all spring and summer. And when I saw the Sweet Soiree Decorative Masks, they reminded me of a trellis of climbing vines of flowers. And what comes with that of course? Butterflies!
We made this card in my monthly card club this past Sunday. We had a lot of fun because it was the first time in several months that we'd used embossing paste. And you should have heard the "Ooohs and ahhhs" when I showed them that there was glitter already in it! This Shimmery White Embossing Paste is the best! No more adding your own Stampin' Glitter; this has it already mixed in! And with Brusho Color Crystals, you can now create your own custom colors of embossing paste to match all of your projects. It really doesn't get much better than that!
