This week and next are super duper crazy here at Making Memories. Saturday is my one-day mini retreat and I'm busy as a bee (a Stamping Bee that is!) getting ready for that! And my Paper Share and Club go out next week, too! With all that, I thought I'd share some gorgeous cards that two of my Stamping Bees made for my new product display boards.
Each time there's a new catalog, I ask for help from my Stamping Bee Team to see if any would like to do some display stamping for me. This time Anthea and Amy took on my challenge and I was blown away at how beautiful their work is. Anthea chose the Beauty Abounds and Butterfly Gala Bundles with all the beautiful butterflies and Amy used the pretty floral Forever Lovely bundle. They both have very different styles than I do and that makes it even more special. I love seeing how they envision how these bundles look through someone else's eyes. I always find myself thinking, 'Why didn't I think of that?"
Being a display stamper is just one of many opportunities available to my Stamping Bees. Come learn more and find out why being a Stamping Bee is so much fun!
Base: Lemon Lime Twist, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"
Layer 1: Whisper White, 5 1/4" x 4"
Layer 2: Lemon Lime Twist, Stitched Shape Framelit+ Layering Squares Framelit
Layer 3: Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper, Stitched Shapes Framelit
Layer 4: Whisper White for Butterflies, Butterfly Duet Punch
Two cards...same design...same look...but WAIT! One stands out more than the other. What makes the one on the right different? It is framed by a Whisper White Layer between the card and the Happiness Blooms Memories and More Card.
In the Occasions Catalog there are Night of Navy Cards and Envelopes to accompany the Happiness Blooms Memories and More Card Pack. They come in two sizes, 6" x 4" and 3" x 4", making card making even easier than before.
And while there is absolutely nothing wrong with the card on the left, with just a few quick snips, you can take your card from good to great by framing the card with a layer underneath. It doesn't even require any stamping! (Do you think it still qualifies for #simplestamping?) Which one do you like better?
Both the Happiness Blooms Memories and More Card Pack and Night of Navy Cards & Envelopes are in the 2019 Occasions Catalog, and are available starting January 3.
Base: Happiness Blooms (Night of Navy) 3" x 4" Cards & Envelopes from the Occasions Catalog

I'm not going to lie. I'm having way more fun playing with the Tags & Tidings Bundle than I thought I would. This bundle first caught my eye while I was on the Alaska Incentive Trip. I mean, who want to stamp and cut all 16 tags out at one time? But then, it sat on my shelf for months before I used it. I guess it was because I didn't need any tags yet. But, with the craft fair coming up Saturday and getting ready for Christmas, it's proven itself more than handy. Plus, it makes a fun background stamp for envelopes, too!
Today's cards came together extremely quickly. I stamped the background tag image twice in Pool Party and then again in Poppy Parade. I ran the Poppy Parade set through the Big Shot just 1 time and out popped 16 tags ready to use. Now that's what I call #SimpleStamping!
See for yourself...

It's WOW Wednesday. I love alliteration, so it's really Wow 'Wink of Watercoloring' Wednesday. That's right, today we're watercoloring with our Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush.
I've seen a LOT of meme's going round about glitter. It seems like glitter and the holidays go together like turkey and stuffing. That stuff is everywhere. That's the good thing about Wink of Stella...the glitter doesn't go anywhere. It stays on the paper where it belongs. No more mess...no more worry that you won't ever get it all vacuumed off the carpet or shampoo'd out of the dog. (Remind me one day to tell you the story of my Shih Tzu's who discovered a pack of glimmer paper! RED glimmer paper!)
Wink of Stella is great on it's own to highlight projects. Or as I did today, to lift the color right off your Watercolor Pencils and use it as a paintbrush, leaving behind a little glimmer and shine in its path.
Wink of Stella has to be my #1 coloring tool. And it shows up better in person than in photos. I've tried all morning to capture the color and sparkle of this card for you...but today, you might just have to take my word for it!

I'm dedicating today's RED CUP to my sister. Her red cup beverage of choice is peppermint hot cocoa. The Coffee Cafe and the candy cane paper from the Santa's Workshop Specialty Designer Series Paper is just perfect for her special holiday beverage. She and I both fell in love with this paper and the Signs of Santa bundle when we were on the Alaska Incentive Trip last summer. Paired with a Stitched Circle Framelit from the All is Bright Designer Series Paper, and it looks almost good enough to eat.
Did you notice the cup sleeve? It's embossed with the Cable Knit Dynamic Impressions Embossing Folder to make make it extra cozy!
