Saturday was my Year of Cheer Holiday Stamp Camp. There were of us got together and stamped, and laughed the day away. It was a dark, drizzly November day, and were we nice and cozy indoors. There was fun, prizes, and special treats all day long. But the biggest surprise of the day, was the whole room singing Happy Birthday to me and presenting a handmade card that they had all managed to sign without me knowing it. And, there was a homemade lemon blueberry layer cake that was better than any restaurant cake I've ever had. Lemon cake is my favorite, and not a soul knew that! I felt like my Gramma was alive and with us on Saturday because she always baked me a lemon cake for my birthday.
At stamp camp, everyone received:
In addition, there were 3 additional classes to choose from. Some added all 3, while others preferred to make the 12 cards in their bag and then work on their on projects. The day ended much too soon, and many are looking forward to signing up for my weekend at the beach stamping retreat in March. (More details to come about that in the next few days).
Here are some highlights from our Stamp Camp retreat:
We were busy "Making Memories" all day long! I'm truly thankful for everyone who came out to camp. It feels good getting a jump on our holiday crafting.
Would you like to get in on the fun? I have more holiday stamping classes coming. Be sure to RSVP by emailing me to hold your spot. And if these dates don't work out, be sure to contact me. I'm happy to come to you for a private class.
