It's just one week until Christmas, and like a little kid, I'm dreaming of a white Christmas. Yes, just like the ones I used to know. As the narrator in Frosty the Snowman says, "As any child can tell you,
there's a certain magic that comes with the very first snow, especially when it falls the day before Christmas." Now, we had our first snow of the year last weekend, which, in the 12 years I've lived in North Carolina has never happened. And we've only had one white in those 12 years. So, while it has been unseasonably cold the last few weeks, I'm afraid we're in for nothing more than a cold, wet, soggy, I mean rainy Christmas. Still, a girl can dream, can't she?
