WOW! What a weekend! Saturday was my BIG annual catalog mini day retreat with 15 of my Stamping Bee and other Southeast Stampin' Up! Demonstrators. And what a party it was! We met at the cutest little Bed & Breakfast, the 149-year old The Carriage House in Carthage, NC. The Inn Keepers, Debbie & and her husband made us feel right at home. He helped carry in all of our boxes and bags, and even offered to park the cars in the rain. Debbie had thought of everything we could possibly need. The rooms we used were beautifully decorated and set up with everything we could possibly need. Lunch was perfect! She prepared one of the prettiest spring salads I'd ever seen, pesto baked tomatoes, and cheddar biscuits. Then, right when we were wrapping up our business training and getting ready to craft, she brought out our afternoon snack: hot peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream and apple slices with caramel sauce. She certainly knows how to cater to crafters!
It was such a lovely day and we were sad to have to leave such gracious hospitality. But we'll be back in September for our demonstrator holiday mini-retreat. So mark your calendars for September 14. This will be a 1-day mini retreat, with nothing like you've ever seen before. This isn't your typical quarterly meeting! Space is limited to the first 20 people. Registration is due No Later than 8/1.
