Can you imagine participating in an organized swap with 400 other demonstrators? Until this summer, I couldn't either! Thankfully, I didn't have to make 400 cards. We each made 25 cards each. Goodness! Can you imagine having to make 400 cards? I'd be working on them all year long!
I was so nervous! After all, these were top demonstrators, many of whom I look to for inspiration. I was super busy before I left for Alaska with work, stamping classes & bingo, and two very sick little dogs. I'd had to put off making my swaps until almost the last minute. There was no theme, either. Since I was in the Christmas-in-July spirit, I grabbed my Stylish Christmas Stamp Set and started cutting up my Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper.
Stop hoarding paper!
I know some of you collect paper like little boys collect Legos. You bought it because you loved it. I get it...the paper is what drew me to Stampin' Up! in the first place. I just had to have it. But you know what...I just have to use it, too! If you think it's beautiful, someone else will, too. So, share the love and join me as I begin a new series next week, starting with tomorrow's Crafty Saturday, on creative ways to use your designer series paper.
