Rainy days...Monday...cooking smells...and the beginning of daylight savings time...what's a girl to do with a lack of sleep? Why get up and make a card, of course!
I hate cooking smells. You know, the smells that linger after cooking dinner? It's awful; I can smell onions and garlic for days. And cooking odors that linger keep me awake at night. Unfortunately, while I was at my Stamping Bee team meeting last night, my husband cooked chili. And while the kitchen was clean and there was a candle burning when I got home, the odors had wafted through the entire house. And instead of dissipating, they only got stronger and more intense as the night wore on. I laid awake, until I finally got up and sprayed the whole house with Lysol. And do you know the worst part? No one else can smell it!
Even coffee isn't helping this morning! So, my card is gray...Rainy days and Mondays. May there be brighter days and less cooking odors ahead. You should be thankful I didn't choose a bilious green to start the week off with!
