After months of planning and several weeks of prep work, the Stamping at the Beach Retreat is over. It was a huge success with many smiling faces and memories to last for years to come. Twenty-one of us participated in the retreat, with 3 people coming as far away the Boston area and 3 'Retreat in a Box' kits to go, and before Friday night was over, many were already asking when the next one is. (Hint: mark your calendars for the weekend of 9/21!)
It was a fun-filled stamping weekend, with new friendships made over the course of the three days. It was so fun to see first-time stampers as well as seasoned paper-crafters working together, and learning and sharing together.
I came home exhausted. After a very long 3-hour drive home, I took a 2-hour nap. My dining room is full of boxes that need unpacked, but I'll get to that this week. It's back to reality this week as I place orders for March Card Club, and start prep work for April Club and Classes. There are still 2 weeks of Sale-a-Bration work to focus on, and swaps to make for OnStage in April. But for now, I think I might just rest and reflect on the people who made my very first weekend retreat so very special.
Wish you'd been there! We certainly made some memories this past weekend!
