For several weeks now, my mother has been counting down the days until the world ended. Why? Because her daughter (that's me!) only had time at Christmas to make 3 months of her annual calendar present: January, February, and December. Why December? I liked the stamp set I used and it was retiring. But...March-November 2018 was missing. As they got ready to leave on 'beat the winter blues' cruise to the Caribbean, she said she'd miss me when the world ended.
Well, I had every intention of surprising her with a completed March calendar page when she got home, but I got spontaneous and went to visit my sister in California instead. Last night, as I was working on some things for my Stamping at the Beach Retreat next weekend, I saw my stack of calendar pages and realized, we're already a full week into March! If I wanted them to enjoy their March page, I better get busy.
Thank goodness for the new Sale-a-Bration Springtime Foils paper! I colored the leaves with my Dark Old Olive Blend alcohol marker and then, sponged Lemon Lime Twist ink over the top of it to color the background and give it a fresh, springy look. Now, all I have to do is pop over and drop it off before April!
The 12" x 12" pack of Sale-a-Bration Springtime Foils paper can be yours free with an order of $50 and is only available until March 31!
Base: 5" x 7" calendar page (from Taylored Expressions)
Layer 1: 5" x 3 1/2" Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper
Layer 2: 1/2" x 3 1/14" Whisper White
Just one more week to register for the March Card Club. Come in person the last Friday or Saturday of the month and make 8 gorgeous cards, plus go home with some fun Stampin' Up! goodies. OR...have it delivered right to your door and #craftwhenyouwant. But you must register by 3/15 to get this month's kit.
