Yesterday, I received the Thoughtful Branches Stamp Set. This set is only available in August (and only while supplies last). Demonstrators can pre-order theirs a month ahead, giving us plenty of time to play and create. Oh, I love that perk!
This set is great for all seasons and occasions. And while I love trees, what really caught my eye was this hydrangea. Fellow demonstrator, Jenny Moore, posted the instructions on how she created these darling notecards, and I knew these had to be the first things I made with the set.
What really makes these flowers pop is the fact that they're stamped twice. Stamp the blossoms twice in Watermelon Wonder on to Flirty Flamingo cardstock. Then, using the coordinating die, cut two sets out using the Big Shot. Adhere one layer directly to the card, and the other is adhered using Stampin' Dimensionals, giving it a 3-D effect. The added small pearls just give it a touch of delicacy, while the linen thread adds a slightly country feel. I liked it so much, that I made another one in a different color scheme.
These cards were relatively quick and easy to make, with the Watercolor Wash Background stamp making a quick, neutral background.
Again, this bundle is only available while supplies last from August 2-31. Contact me today, to order yours!
