The Second Sunday of the month is SUPER busy and a whole lot of fun! It begins with my monthly Sweet & Simple Card Class from 2-4 pm. And immediately following that is my Stamping Bee Team Meeting. I adore my team of Stamping Bees! Just look at the joy on their faces! Any night out spent stamping with friends is a good night indeed!
We 'swap' at every meeting. Everyone makes several copies of one card they've designed, and we share with each other. You might come with 8 of the same card, but you leave with 8 different ones! Such fun! My favorite part of the card swap is not even the cards. It's listening to everyone share their card. Last night's cards were truly exceptional and you could hear the pride in their voices as they told us of how they planned and designed their card. Susan, for instance, was thrilled to show off her new bow tying skills on her Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut Card. Rosie told us there were 8 different colors of ink on her Waterfront Card. And Julia shared her tips for coloring on Graceful Glass Vellum with Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers.
Of course, anytime we get together there has to be stamping involved! Last night, we made 5 gift-card sized Thank You Cards using the Varied Vases Bundle and new 2018-2020 In Colors. These will make great cards to tuck in a special thank you gift, or even keep in your purse and hand out little Random Acts of Kindness wherever you go.
Would you like to come to a Stamping Bee Team Meeting? We meet at 5 pm on the 2nd Sunday of every month (unless it's a holiday) at Village Pizza. They have some of the best pizza and pasta I've had since I left New Jersey 13 years ago. Come check us out and see what we're all about. First time visitors are free. Just make sure you let me know the week before the meeting so I have a card kit ready for you. Our next meeting is Sunday, July 8th. Click on the button and email me if you'd like to attend!
