Every Sunday, the Hubs asks, "What's your week look like?" As I started ticking off all I have going on for the next two weeks, we were both a little surprised at all that's going on!
Wow! It's a good thing I'm all prepared! All I have to do is put a few finishing touches on things and we'll be all set!
It's times like this, when a simple, tranquil card like this is most important. I spent last night up on my studio, working on my June 27th class, and wanted to create a card which demonstrated the two-step stamping technique and showcased the lovely Tranquil Tulips hostess stamp set. And while this set can be used to create a whole garden or bouquet of tulips, I felt that one simple single-stemmed tulip was all that was needed to convey a sense of calm serenity. That's something I think we can all appreciate every now and then.
This card features some of my favorite new products too, including the Delightful Daisies Designer Series Paper, the Petal Burst Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, and the new Calypso Coral 1/4" Ombre Ribbon. This ribbon doesn't fray and it makes bow time a snap!
