Oh my! This card was so much fun. Did you know that that dies in the Rooted in Nature Bundle come with dies that also emboss? All of the Champagne Foil leaves were embossed with thinlets! They can be cut out using the framelits. It's pure genius and I just love the look of it. I had so much fun, I ended up with extras. Not one to go to let foil pieces go to waste, I decorated the inside of the card, too!
Now, won't that be a surprise when someone opens it?

Tomorrow marks my parents 51st wedding anniversary. They are the roots of our family tree. Though we may branch out, and spread our wings, the foundation of love and support that they have built along way keeps us grounded and strong. The roots of their love for each other and their family run strong and true.
When we went on vacation to Spokane this year, we spent some time looking at real estate. And what really made a decision of whether or not to keep looking was whether or not the land had trees. It all comes down to being surrounded and, if you will, Rooted in Nature. And so, this card is the perfect way to mark their special day.
Wishing them both a very happy anniversary weekend! Love you lots, Mom & Fom!

Watching the leaves turn colors is one of my favorite fall things to do. Growing up in both Southern California and Spokane Washington, we didn't have a lot of color. California is always green, unless it summer, then it is just brown. And where we lived in Spokane was nothing but evergreens! The fall I moved to New Jersey completely overwhelmed my senses with the wide range of colors. It was then that I realized how much I'd been missing. Thank goodness we also get fall colors in North Carolina.
The baby wipe technique isn't new, but it is a great way to add variegated color to your stamping. Come enjoy as I show you this quick and easy technique, using the Rooted in Nature Stamp Set.

CASE-ing is the acronym for "Copy & Share Everything". CASE-ing a card is a great way for crafters of all levels, from beginner to avid, to hone their craft. CASE-ing offers card sketches or ideas that you may not have thought about or tried before. Sometimes, the sketches are quite simple, like the one today. Others, are more complex. For some, the sweet simplicity of this card can be a challenge. for me, I liked how the 'less is more' approach drew your attention to the actual stamping.
Today's CASE-ing Tuesday card features the All the Good Things Stamp Set, found in the annual catalog on page 151. It is a lovely and tranquil set and I really should add it to my collection. However, today's card sketch was the perfect fit for this week's Rooted In Nature Product of the Week.
Want to play along with the CASE-ing Tuesday group?
Makeover the card (pictured above). You can change a lot, a little or make the card just as it is in the catalog. Then post it to the Facebook thread. We can’t wait to see your cards. You can use the following hashtag if you post your card elsewhere on Facebook #CASEingtuesday162

I sent my friend a text on Friday..."Want to go to Bath and Body Works & sniff fall candles?" I love fall and the last few cooler days (as in only 82F) have made me start searching for the first signs off fall. I search for the first true red leaf, and count down the days until the first frost. Fall arrives a bit slower in the South, and I welcome it with open arms.
To celebrate the impending change of seasons, I'm showcasing the Rooted In Nature Bundle all this week. I started with my huge Crafty Saturday Facebook live and I can't wait to show you what I have in store the rest of the week.
