It snowed here in the South this weekend and it was so beautiful. It didn't stick, but it snowed for two days straight. I really miss the snow. Not the shoveling and all the work that goes with it, but I do miss the quiet serenity of a snowy day. Maybe that's why I knew knew I had to use the snowflakes from the Flurry of Wishes stamp set when I saw our sketch for today.
What is CASE-ing? CASE stands for Copy And Share Everything. When you CASE you can change nothing, just a few things, or everything! Play along and join the fun!
Come play along with us! CASE-ing is a great way to improve your stamping and challenge yourself to try new styles. Create a card based on the above pattern and then post it on the Facebook Post. Or, if you post it elsewhere on Facebook, you can use the hashtag #CASEingtuesday125.
Today's card uses the 'baby wipe' technique. I wanted a subtle blend of colors, so on several layers of wet baby wipes, I scattered 5-6 drops each of Night of Navy, Soft Sky, and Sweet Sugarplum. Then, I tapped my stamps around the baby wipe, gently mixing the colors, before stamping it on to the paper.
Layer 1: Sweet Sugarplum, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/14"
Layer 2: Night of Navy, 5 1/8" x 3 7/8"
Layer 3: Shimmery White, 5" x 3 3/4"
Layer 4. Night of Navy Scalloped Layering Oval
Layer 5: Shimmery White Stitched Shape Framelit (2nd from largest)
