BOO! And welcome to the first week of my 12 Weeks of Halloween blog and video series. Every Thursday until Halloween, I'll be featuring a not-so spooky project that you can use to decorate your home, office, or share with others.
Today, I make sparkly Jack O'Lanterns using the new Mini Curvy Keepsake Box Dies. And while these dies are part of the Let it Snow Suite, that doesn't mean you can't use them all year round. I also used two new Stamp sets, Boo to You and Harvest Hellos.
Being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator allows me to order out of new catalogs a whole month earlier than anyone else. That means, a whole extra month of fun crafting possibilities! If you'd like to place your holiday order now, it's a great time to join. For just $99, you get $155 in your choice of products, free shipping, and a $10 coupon to use in September. Plus, there's a ton of other benefits, which I discussed on my blog yesterday. Contact me with questions, or click here to join today.

On Saturday's Facebook Live, I created a stationery box for gifting to your favorite teacher, graduate, or someone special. This week, I'll be making the cards and tags to go inside, using the Hoot Hoot Hooray Stamp Set. This stamp set is just adorable and great for all occasions, from birthday to new baby. Now...you won't find this in the main catalog. This is part of the Experience Creativity Projects, found over on my website. The simple line art is perfect for beginning stampers who want to try their hand at coloring. Or, it's good for more advanced crafters who want to add a little cuteness to their collection. Either way, the Hoot Hoot Hooray Stamp Set is perfect for this week's projects.

Wait a minute? Isn't she supposed to be using the Heirloom Threads Suite this week? What's up with the cow? Surprise! I happen to have this little cow leftover from a previous design day and thought, hmmmmm, I wonder if she'd fit inside the Heirloom Frame? And you know what? She did!
The Heirloom Frames and Dies coordinate together. Simply cut out the frame with the die, then place it in the embossing folder to add the detailed embossing. I have a confession: the first time I used these I didn't realize there were dies and I fussy cut the oval. It wasn't difficult, but I found myself upset that there wasn't a die to not only cut out the frame, but the inside of the frame, too. Just as I finished, I glanced over and saw the package of dies, too. Obviously, I needed more coffee that morning.
I can see the Heirloom Frames and Dies working well with many of our stamped images and sentiments. And if you're a scrapbooker, won't these look awesome in your albums? I can't wait to see what you create.
Speaking of Heirloom Frames and Dies...have you joined the Making Memories VIP Group this month? Simply place an order of $35 or more this week and you'll receive A FREE 8-Card tutorial featuring the Woven Threads Suite. You won't want to miss it! (Please use Host Code: RFETRUUV).

Mooooove over Monday, it's #CASEingTuesday! I love Tuesdays because all the design work is done for me. I just have to CASE (copy and share everything) the design right out of the catalog! I mean, why not? We oooh and ahhhh over the designs in there. Why not use the designs that are already done to expand our repertoire, and in my case, skills. Take today's card, for example...I was up at 6:30 am designing this (so maybe I procrastinate just a little!), and I had a heck of a time figuring out how to get the diagonal cut on the 4" square. Did I mention I was crafting PRE coffee??? That's so dangerous. Anyway...a couple sips of coffee and a single cut on my trimmer later and voila! Fun diagonal.
Have I mentioned that I'm Over the Moon for this stamp set? (Ok, maybe too much coffee this morning???) It's been sitting on my shelf for months, and I finally pulled it down this weekend. I LOVE IT! Totally adorable. After making my first card with it Saturday morning, I decided I'd use it for my August Sweet & Simple Class! And pairing it up with the dots from the Love What You Do stamp set makes it even cuter.
Want to play along with the CASE-ing Tuesday?
Use the sketch to plan out your card. You can change a lot, a little, or make the card just as it is in the catalog. Then post it to the Facebook thread. We can’t wait to see your cards. You can use the following hashtag if you post your card elsewhere on Facebook or Social Medial. #CASEingTuesday210.
