Fun Folds...do you love them or hate them? Some people just can't get enough and some don't want anything to do with them. It was hard to get out of bed this morning. My family has been here from California for two weeks and I've spent every night over at my parents house, visiting and playing. It's been great having them here and we try to cram in as much time together as possible before they go home again. California is just too far away! It's sad that they have to leave today, since it's my parents 52 wedding anniversary.
Family...it's what holds us together. No matter where we are, when we're together, it feels like 'home'. And August's Paper Pumpkin had just the right sentiments to express how thankful and grateful I am to my family and friends. In good times and bad, I know that they are there for me, just as I am for them.
August's Paper Pumpkin made gift bags and tags, and September's is full of spooky fun! The Bone Appétit kit is just what you need 20 food-safe treat boxes, with a unique and exclusive Halloween stamp set, all packaged in a spooky, special-edition box. Subscribe by September 10th for to receive yours in the mail, then craft along with me later in the month.
And now...for that Giveaway announcement you've been waiting for! I'm giving away 2 full kits of today's projects. That's right, everything (but the stamps and ink) that you need to make today's cards and gift boxes, will be mailed to you next week. I am continuing to ask my readers for your help to spread the word of my designs through Pinterest and my blog. All you have to do is leave me a comment below and visit my Pinterest Page and repin today's design. Then, next Saturday, I'll announce the 2 winners and mail out your kits.

Mixing and Matching...that's what's fun when you have a studio full of stamps, paper, and ink. The Old Olive Scalloped Note Cards were looking a little drab this morning and I wanted to lighten them up. I cut a strip of Garden Lane Designer Series Paper and added it to the inside of the card and added some Old Olive Leaves from the Verdant Garden Stamp Set for a little tone-on-tone stamping. And then, I die cut the sentiment from one of the Magnolia Lane Memories & More Card Pack and added a Gray Granite Scalloped Oval behind it.

One of the best things about having a shelf (ok, 2 shelves) full of stamp sets is having the ability to find just the right images and sentiments to express exactly what you're feeling. Today, I created a sympathy card using the Woven Heirlooms and Dandelion Wishes Stamp Sets. I read that dandelions are the perfect symbol for how something so small and unassuming can withstand great hardships. I think that makes it perfect for a sympathy card, don't you?
