We may be singing Deck the Halls, but these Spirited Snowmen are celebrating their love with the new Meant to Be Bundle. No matter what the season, love is what it's all about.
As I was designing my January Card Club last night with the new Meant to Be Bundle, I made an awesome discovery. The new Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies, cut out a solid heart as well as the stitched scalloped frame at the same time! And then I wondered...will that snowman couple fit on the heart? And you know what? They do! I just love it when a plan comes together, don't you?
The Meant to Be Bundle, which feathers the Meant to Be Stamp set and Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies will be available starting January 3rd. But you can get a Headstart on all the new Stampin' Up! products now! Simply purchase the $99 Starter Kit and join Stampin' Up! It's the best deal around! You can choose up to $125 in product (that's $26 FREE!), as well as enjoy free shipping (that's another $12.50 in savings!). I saw a similar design on Pinterest the other day and knew I had to give it a try. How did I not notice my wonky bow though when I was taking the photo? Argh...Guess it needs an extra glue dot before it gets mailed off.
You know by now that my favorite stamp set this spring was Petal Palette. You have no idea how glad I was to see it carrying over into the new catalog. You could have taken every stamp set off my shelves if I could just have kept this set for a little longer. (Thankfully, that didn't need to happen!) And while I love the sentiments from this set, nothing seemed to fit this card when it was finished. I scoured my shelves and came up with this one from the Ribbon of Courage stamp set. I haven't used that one very much, and thought this sentiment was somehow fitting.
This card really is one of those that's prettier in person. I watercolored the Flirty Flamingo background using my Wink of Stella glitter brush. Then, stamped the branches in Early Espresso. The overall effect was quite difficult to capture with the camera, though.
I will be in Washington DC this weekend visiting friends, so there won't be a Crafty Saturday Facebook Live this week. But please, stay tuned next week. We'll have to do a quick one before my monthly club comes at 10 . Yikes!
Happy weekend everyone! Be sure to post pictures on my Facebook page of what you're crafting this weekend. I'm taking my Paper Pumpkin on the train with me. That ought to be fun, don't you think?
Base: Flirty Flamingo, 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"

Layer 3: Whisper White, cut out with Petals and More thinlets
Rain or Shine, it's always time for ice cream! These cool colors today remind me when all the Lad would eat was Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream. With lots and lots of sprinkles!
Today's card is all about the 'sprinkles and cherries'. Or, in the paper crafting world, it's all about the embellishments.
Doesn't that look good enough to eat?
Did you know that bundles save you 10%.
Cutting and Measurement:
Base: Mint Macron 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4"

Layers 3 & 4 are using the Layering Circles framelits
Why is it, every time I reach for the Flourishing Phrases Bundle, I also reach for my collection of navy and white paper? I've seen it in all colors and it's striking. But to me, this will always show best in these crisp clean, and classic colors found in the Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper.
Too add texture behind the die cut, I used the Timeless Texture Stamp Set to add a random patter (is that an oxymoron), using Basic Gray Archival Ink. To achieve the various shades, I stamped off the ink onto scratch paper first, before stamping on the card stock.
This design was part of a sketch challenge for my Stamping Bee team. I hold a weekly challenge, with a small prize being given to a random winner. Last week, Sarah won a new pack of Urban Underground Washi Tape. I know she's going to put it to good use.
Would you like to play along? Post your creations below - I'd love to see them.

The Hubs and I took down the tree and Christmas decorations last night. To me, an empty Christmas tree is one of the saddest, lonliest sights after the holidays. And all the lights that burned so bright with anticipation, only seem dim and dusty once Christmas is over. So, we sepnt a few hours packing everything away and dusing and vacuuming. My house is back to normal, but it feels rather empty without the tree.
I needed something to cheer me up, so after the Hubs went to bed, I went up to my stamp room and unloaded 3 boxes of Stampin' Up! goodies. My Bingo night is this Friday and I have 12 ladies coming to play! It's time to put the last minute touches on all the projects and fun I've been planning.
Then, I made a quick card using the new Hey, Chick Stamp Set. Stampin' Up! has really outdone themselves with the Sale-a-bration products they're offering this year. What's Sale-a-bration? Only the best time of the Stampin' Up! year! It's the best way to fight of the winder doldrums.
