Today's #CASEing Tuesday! And surprise! I combined today's card and my week of boxes and bags and brought you a fold-over card holder. While it's technically not a box or a bag, it's perfect for holding cards to give as gifts. All the directions for the very quick and simple project can be found in my video below.
Today's project also features the newRococo Rose and Seaside Spray In Colors. I love how well these two colors go together. And do you see that little strip of ribbon behind the circle? I cut that scalloped lace strip of the bigger piece of Scalloped Linen Ribbon. Now, it's like getting two spools of ribbon in one!
Want to play along with the #CaseingTuesday crew? Use the sketch to plan out your card. You can change a lot, a little, or make the card just as it is in the catalog. Then post it to the Facebook thread. We can’t wait to see your cards. You can use the following hashtag if you post your card elsewhere on Facebook or Social Medial. #CASEingTuesday204.
Today's design followed the following sketch from the Annual Catalog. A video tutorial, measurements for the card holder, plus supply list are found below.

Oh what a Saturday! It started with Crafty Saturday on my Facebook Page at 9 am, immediately followed by my Monthly Card Club. After that, I met my parents for a late lunch at a new Mexican restaurant in town. It's not California Mexican food, but it will do.
After lunch, I made a quick trip to Lowe's and saw they had marked down hydrangeas to just $5 each due to the intense heat. So, of course, I had to get some - in blue and pink!
After a trip quick to the grocery store, I came home spread some pine straw and planted 2 out of 4 hydrangeas. After all this, it sure feels good to sit and relax a bit before starting over again tomorrow.
Yesterday, on the blog, I showed you a curtain fold card made with the new Woven Thread's Designer Series Paper and 2019-2021 In Colors. Today, on Crafty Saturday, I showed you how to create this pretty card for your very own.

Layers, layers everywhere. This card has so many layers it's hard to know where to begin. The Petal Palette stamp set is one of my all time favorites. And I don't even like birds! I think it's the way the layers work together without being fussy. You don't have to cut a lot of any one piece, either. As you e. And what are those circles in the background? Surprise! The Swirly Scribbles dies make a guess appearance here, too.
Powder Pink is retiring...in fact, ALL 2017-2019 InColors are retiring. When? On Monday, April 15th. If I were you, I'd stock up on all InColor inks, re-inkers, paper, ribbon, etc before Monday. Historically, all InColors sell out almost immediately. And once they're gone, they're gone.
