I was cleaning out my kitchen this past weekend when I came across an unopened and forgotten bag of Ghirardelli Dark Chocolates. Now, I know what you're thinking..."Who has an unopened AND forgotten bag of chocolates hiding in their kitchen?" But do you know what I was thinking? "Wow! I can CRAFT with those!"
And you know what? They're were perfect for this week's 12 Weeks of Halloween video! Enjoy...I'm going to go have a piece of chocolate!

It was hard to get out of bed this morning. My family has been here from California for two weeks and I've spent every night over at my parents house, visiting and playing. It's been great having them here and we try to cram in as much time together as possible before they go home again. California is just too far away! It's sad that they have to leave today, since it's my parents 52 wedding anniversary.
Family...it's what holds us together. No matter where we are, when we're together, it feels like 'home'. And August's Paper Pumpkin had just the right sentiments to express how thankful and grateful I am to my family and friends. In good times and bad, I know that they are there for me, just as I am for them.
August's Paper Pumpkin made gift bags and tags, and September's is full of spooky fun! The Bone Appétit kit is just what you need 20 food-safe treat boxes, with a unique and exclusive Halloween stamp set, all packaged in a spooky, special-edition box. Subscribe by September 10th for to receive yours in the mail, then craft along with me later in the month.
And now...for that Giveaway announcement you've been waiting for! I'm giving away 2 full kits of today's projects. That's right, everything (but the stamps and ink) that you need to make today's cards and gift boxes, will be mailed to you next week. I am continuing to ask my readers for your help to spread the word of my designs through Pinterest and my blog. All you have to do is leave me a comment below and visit my Pinterest Page and repin today's design. Then, next Saturday, I'll announce the 2 winners and mail out your kits.

Today's Halloween Treats feature a box and a card, using the Spooktacular Bash Bundle. If you think the stamps and coordinating Monster Bash Designer Series Paper are great, you've got to see the Ornate Frames Dies. They not only compliment all the sentiments in the stamp set perfectly, they really steal the show with their ornate filigree.
The new Stampin' Up! dies are great! They're thinner but cut a sharper, crisper edge than we had previously. Even these delicate filigreed edges cut out cleanly and precisely, with very little need to poke out out the tiny pieces. If you haven't tried them already, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Got your wish list ready? The Spooktacular Bash Bundle as well as the rest of the Holiday Catalog goes live starting September 4th. I can't wait to see what you make with this!
