I have a chalkboard in my studio that says, "What did you stamp today?" When I first started with Stampin' Up!, I put that sign front and center, to remind myself to be creative, no matter how I felt. I will honestly say that I'm up in my studio designing and prepping at least 5 night a week. The rest of the time, I spend wondering why I'm not up there! But really...we all need a break from our routines. Even a few minutes of creativity, away from the job, mom, wife, responsibilities will bring a sense of renewal. Creativity is part of self-care. We can't care for others when we don't care for ourselves.
I finished my little chocolate care package today. Isn't that little batty-box boo-tiful? Not only that, it holds 3 Hershey's Miniatures, too! There are so many fun patterns in the Toil & Trouble Suite, it's hard not to keep playing with it. I'll be showing you how to make the Hershey's Miniatures Box and the miniature milk carton boxes tomorrow on my Facebook Live. Come craft along with me every Saturday at 9 am EST.
